A very relaxing day at the resort, most of the tour group was going on a desert safari, on our request Mohammed changed the program slightly by removing the quad bike ride and added some extra time on the camels. When we arrived at the site we were very happy we asked for this change. There were literally hundreds of quad bikes ploughing through the desert creating an enormous amount of dust.
We got to our camel ride but had to wait a little as there were not enough camels for all of us, once that was sorted we went on a bit of a stroll surrounded by noisy quad bikes.
We had dinner at a Bedouin settlement and watched another (not so impressive) belly dancer and a fire dancer who was really good. After dinner they took us to a dark area where on astronomer had two telescopes setup and talked about the stars. We had a great view of Saturn with its rings and the other was pointed at the star Vega. I managed to take a few pictures of the stars, but I tell you; the skies in Australia outback are way clearer. However, it was an enjoyable evening.
